Kuala Lumpur, 16th July 2024 – The Commercial Radio Malaysia (CRM) announced the re-election of Nazri Noran, the Chief Executive Officer representing Media Prima Audio (Hot FM, Fly FM, Kool 101, Eight FM, Molek FM) as President and Ahmed Faris Amir, Chief Executive Officer of Radio Kita Sdn Bhd appointed as the Vice-President at its 27th Annual General Meeting.
“I am honoured to be re-elected as President of Commercial Radio Malaysia. In these challenging times for traditional media, we will focus on enhancing the relatability and relevance of radio. Together, we will innovate and engage our audiences, ensuring radio remains a vital part of the media landscape,” said Nazri.
The meeting also appointed, Rizal Sahimy, General Manager of Suara Johor Sdn Bhd as Honorary Secretary and Maslina Alias, News Manager of Institut Kefahaman Islam Malaysia as Honorary Treasurer.
The Vice President, Ahmed Faris Amir said, “I would like to thank the members of Commercial Radio Malaysia (CRM) for the trust to co-steer this esteemed organization. Collectively, we’ll strive to continue on driving innovation and growth, towards enriching the broadcasting landscape in Malaysia”.
